COP24 has ended. A day later than originally planned. The extra time was needed to reach an agreement on the Rulebook of the Paris Agreements, but also testified a warning lack of real international cooperation when it comes to the climate crisis.

On June 1, 2017 U.S. President Donald Trump announced the intention of the United States of America to withdraw from the Paris Agreement. This felt like a huge step back from the country recording the highest carbon emissions per capita in the world. But not all the United States citizens agreed with the decision of the Trump administration. ​
